Your data
Privacy Policy
How Harrah's Illinois LLC handles personal information on dealentia.com, written as plainly as we can manage.
Data controller
For dealentia.com, personal data is controlled by Harrah's Illinois LLC, 151 North Joliet Street, Joliet, IL 60432. Send privacy matters to privacy@dealentia.com; that mailbox is read by the people responsible for this notice.
Information Dealentia handles
- Connection details your browser hands over on every visit: your IP address, a rough Dealentia-side estimate of location derived from that IP (normally town or state), the user agent identifying browser and device type, the page you came from and the Dealentia pages you open.
- Contact-form content: since the form only drafts an email, we receive your name, address, chosen topic and note once you actually send that email.
- Your cookie setting, kept in your own browser's storage.
Why Dealentia uses it
- Keeping pages online, fast and protected from abuse.
- Analytics: understanding which entries are read and where readers arrive from, solely when the analytics switch is on.
- Marketing: allowing partner networks to credit Dealentia for a referred booking and judging how our own promotion performs, solely when the advertising/affiliate switch is on.
- Answering the emails readers send.
Where European or UK law applies, site operation rests on legitimate interests, analytics and marketing on consent, and replies on the steps you asked us to take.
How long Dealentia keeps things
Raw server logs: up to 90 days, then deleted. Analytics: up to 26 months, held only in aggregated form. Reader emails: up to two years after the last message in the thread, unless a legal duty requires longer. Your cookie setting: in your browser until you clear it or choose again.
Rights for readers covered by the GDPR or UK GDPR
Under those laws a Dealentia reader may request a copy of what we hold, fix inaccurate entries, have records wiped, pause or challenge particular uses, and receive the data as a portable export. Dealentia analytics or marketing consent is revocable whenever you choose, without undoing earlier lawful use. Dissatisfied readers can also take a complaint to a supervisory authority, for example the one where they live.
Rights for California residents (CCPA as amended by the CPRA)
Californians may ask Dealentia which kinds of personal information, and which specific pieces, it gathers, uses and passes on; may ask for erasure or correction; and may refuse its sale or its “sharing”, which the CPRA links to cross-context behavioural advertising. Dealentia's affiliate tracking may amount to sharing, so a press of Reject All, or leaving the advertising/affiliate switch off acts as your opt-out, and Dealentia also treats Global Privacy Control as one. Using any of these rights will not cost you service quality or a different price.
Send requests to privacy@dealentia.com. We verify identity proportionately before acting and reply within the statutory period.
Minors
Every Dealentia page targets adults. Nobody younger than 18 should contact us, and we do not knowingly hold minors' data; a guardian who finds that a child wrote in can ask, and Dealentia will erase that message.
Updates to this notice
Dealentia refreshes the revised-on line beneath the heading whenever this notice changes, and flags bigger rewrites on the home page for several weeks.
